This is weird for me, I've been building Custom/Modding Custom PC's of all sorts, for about 10yrs, and I've never not been able to find driver update. Now that that is installed we can go ahead and install AMDCatalyst13.4LegacyBetaVistaWin7Win8. It's a Toshiba, I'm typing this on my A665D-S6091 and the Mobility Radeon HD 5650 is part of the motherboard. Select browse my computer -> Let me pick from a list of devices -> Double click the Microsoft Basic Display Adaptor to install it. Even if it were removable, it certainly wouldn't be MXM or anything 'standard' that could be upgrade. So I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this particular GPU, and if they capped out at the 8.713.3.0 A drivers, or if there is newer ones, and if there is, hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Go to device manager -> Display Adaptors -> ATI Radeon HD 4250, Right click and select Update Driver Software. And I tried searching for the drivers thru google, but all I could find were the same ones he already has. As you will see in the title of this thread, thats the GPU it has, but they do not list that GPU on their site anymore apparently. 1 ATI Radeon Graphics Driver Catalyst Software Suite 12.3 Windows 7/Vista. So i went to find them on ATi/AMD's website, and I cant seem to find it.
#Upgrade from ati radeon hd 4250 how to
A friend of mine has this - Toshiba Satellite Laptop (Toshiba Satellite L675-D) and hes not very tech savvy, and so he asked me to show him how to update his Graphics Driver, cause apparently when he went to play a newer game, it recommended he update to the latest GPU Drivers, since his were not current.
